Punjab, a state in northwest India, has no national parks. However, it does have 13 wildlife sanctuaries, including: 

  • Bir Chahal Wildlife Sanctuary
  • Bir Dosanjh Wildlife Sanctuary
  • Bir Moti Bagh Wildlife Sanctuary
  • Bir Gurdialpura Wildlife Sanctuary
  • Bir Bhunherheri Wildlife Sanctuary
  • Bir Mehas Wildlife Sanctuary

Punjab also has: 

  • One zoological park
  • One tiger safari
  • Three deer parks
  • Two community reserves

Some other protected areas in Punjab include: 

  • Abohar National Park
  • Ravi, Beas, and Satluj (Sutlej) rivers
